We offer a diversified program that correlates with Cabarrus county school calendar and curriculum. Students are able to visit us after school and during the summer for tutoring or homework assistance. Let us help your child reach their academic potential.
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, I began my work in 2019 at the Salvation Army on Spratt Street as a respected and collaborative partner. Providing resources to unhoused individuals of the community and being a pillar to the youth needing educational services, I have always known that I possess a unique calling—a divine gift rooted in love, purpose, and service. Transitioning from working with the students from Salvation Army, I officially launched my nonprofit and welcomed students from all over North Carolina to experience the legacy of which I am creating. It was at this moment that I decided to go back to school for a degree in Early Childhood; I graduated with honors and a clear sense of purpose.
In 2023, my teaching career had sucessfully began, and I have felt nothing but joy since then. Teaching is more than a profession for me; it is my passion and my ministry. I find great joy in nurturing young minds, inspiring confidence, and helping children discover their potential. The opportunity to educate, encourage, and make a lasting impact on the lives of others is a privilege that I truly adore.
Children United with Miss D-CUWMD was established seven years ago. My nonprofit was founded for the educational needs and a desire to help shape young minds. Recognizing the need for personalized academic support that empowers students to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and reach their full potential, a commitment to providing year-round educational services that inspire a love of learning and help students achieve success both inside and outside the classroom. My only mission is to make quality educational support accessible to every child while fostering growth, achievement, and lifelong learning.
